Porsche 911 Coupe Sportomatic 1968 model
1991 ccm 6 syl, 130 HP Boxer Engine
Chassis nr: 118 35 097
Engine nr: 338 0167

This is the short story of my car. I have absolutly every documentation in original paper form from the day the car was new up to this day. The original check, letter from the dealer, every maintenance recept and so on..

The car was sold by Wes Lasher at W.B Lasher CO in San Jose, California to Fred and Rose McAllaster in San Jose.
The car was delivered to the couple the 11/11 1968 because of some transport damage. Fred demanded a full respray of the car and he got it. It was sold for 6743,75 $. The first registration number was XGX 172.

It was Rose who used the car, and she was then 66 years old. The car was used alot by here. When Fred died in 1991, the car got transferd to their son Wayne Roy McAllaster in March 1991.
The car then got registrated on Wayne with numberplate 2UGT783.
Rose was at this time 89 years old, but history shows that she used the car until she was 95-96 years old.

The car was then sold to Rune Skui and imported to Norway in 1997. Then it had done 132 854 miles. It was left standing in custom for a year because of cheaper registration when cars are more than 30 years in Norway.
It was registrated for the first time in Norway the 30/06 1998 with registration number JD-17653.
The 26/08 1998, Rune Skui sold the car to Tore Flåm.

Both these owners did some minor repair work.

The 17/11 1999 the car was sold to Roger Stensrud in Skien Norway. It had then done 144 501 miles. The registration number was changed to R-68911.

In January 2000 a larger repair was started at 145 000 miles.
Complete respray, new carpet, engine and gear overhaul, carburettors, and so on..

The 21/10 2006 I was able to by this pearl, and have spent about 500 labour hours bringing it back to 100% original shape.
I have done a professional rebuid og the engine by Ferdinand Motorsport (www.ferdinand-motor.no and Tom-Erik Droig and his father). I have my self done among other things: removal of every sign of rust, changed almost every rubber sealing and bushings everywhere, changed carpets in the boot, clutch replacement, fuel tank and gauge fix, fixed the electric and so on and so on..

The only "problem" at this date is a small grind when I change into reverse, and a small oil leak from the left side of the engine (which my mecanic will fix when the winter comes)
Until then, I will be driving and enjoying my self with a absolutly wonderful car!!!

And next winter start on my next project.. a 356 B from 1959 that I have completly disassemblyed. (yes every nut and bolt, and bought half of Stoddard stock of parts.. Hehe.. )

Nice page!!!

Best regards

Morten from Norway
