In the summer of 2007 I found a nice project to restore in the north west of Spain. It's a 911L Sportomatic, chassis nº 11810155, engine 3180047 which was imported from USA.
I transported it by trailer to Valencia, close to the Mediterranean sea where I have my family house.
The car is in bad shape but in some way original.It was converted to manual and painted in other color.
Here is where I found the most curious circumstance; the color code is 97-17420 I (or L). I tried to investigate what kind of color is it and asked for it in my other club subscription (Early 911S Registry) in this page:

I'm now working abroad, actually in China, for a few years. I already reached an 905 gearbox and almost every piece to complete that Sporto transmission, always from USA (Ebay, 911S Registry, The Samba, etc) and I strongly wish to start restoration when I came back to Spain in 2 or 3 more years. Until then I really enjoy this forums and I'm grateful with this new one.
I'll try to attach some photos of my car.
By the way, I have a 356T5, 1969 912 Targa, 1966 911, 1967 911S, 1969 911T and 1971 914 too but everyone to restore except the 356.
